Kinzua Fish & Wildlife Association's annual fishing derby was held on Saturday, May 24th, at Wildcat Hollow. 39 children and young adults took part this year, and traveled from Bradford to enjoy a day of fishing. Nobody went home empty handed!
After the fishing came lunch. Hot dogs cooked over a fire, beans, salads, all the makings of a great lunch outdoors. Many thanks to Toni and Howard Kane, Cricket and all of her helpers, for putting on such a fine meal. Also, a big thank you to Joe Intorre for cooking the dogs, and his family for helping with everything!
Special thanks go to Rose Lucianne for keeping the kids entertained after lunch with a wonderful program, and Bob Sever and his friends from JoJo who forked over the money to buy the trout and the hot dogs.
The following pictures are pretty much self-explanatory!
All in all, it was a great day. The rain held off and the kids had a great time.
