We have moved our website over to new server. Changes to the site will be occuring through the summer months.

Our website has been down for a couple of days, and along with it, our email. I haven't been able to receive email since Friday, 5/31. If anybody has sent anything in this period, please re-send it. Please send all emails to
postmaster@kfwa.org until I get all the other accounts set up. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

We sent out our newsletter for 2006 the second week of April 2007. We have an excellent article from outdoor columnist Mike Bleech, the latest update on the walleye survey from Al Woomer, some notes from the board of directors, and information on how to get one of our maps of all of the structure that KF&WA has put in the Allegheny Reservoir since our inception in 1983. This is a 10 page map with coordinates and topo's. This is a "member's only" map. If you are not a member now but would like to join to get a copy of the map, send an email to postmaster@kfwa.org and we'll get you the info.

You can view a copy of our 2005 newsletter here. These are sent out annually to all members. This is a PDF file, which you will need Adobe to open. If you don't have Adobe, you can get it by clicking on the link below.

Kinzua [Kin-zoo] Fish & Wildlife Association (KFWA) is a non-profit volunteer organization "dedicated to the restoration and preservation of fish and wildlife food and cover." Our work is focused in the Allegheny National Forest and Allegheny Reservoir (Kinzua Dam) area of McKean and Warren Counties in northwest Pennsylvania (a.k.a. "Kinzua Country").

KFWA is not a hunting and fishing club; we are a working organization. KFWA performs several different types of habitat improvement projects throughout "Kinzua Country". These projects are conducted in cooperation with various government agencies: Allegheny National Forest (ANF), Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission (PFBC), Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

While our membership is concentrated in northwest Pennsylvania, many members live in the Pittsburgh Metro area, and own or visit camps in "Kinzua Country". Members come from all walks of life, and anyone willing to lend a hand is always welcome.
